consisting of 15 Laps.
Entry Fees and
Registration:
• Registration begins 90
minutes prior to the scheduled starting time of the event.
Registration closes 30 minutes before the scheduled time for the
Driver’s meeting. All Drivers are required to attend the drivers
meeting. Any driver not registered by the Official registration
completion time will start scratch in all qualifying events. Entry
fees for Special events will be announced.
Rainout:
• If you do not start a
heat race, you will be paid on the pill draw. If you do run a heat
race you will be paid on the finish. There will be no refunds.
Year-End Awards:
• To receive year-end
awards in a weekly class, the participant must have been registered
for a minimum of 12 races. We will count your best 12 finishes.
Race Procedure:
• No Karts shall be on the
track without the Flagmen.
• All Karts will be
required to have a Raceceiver.
• You are not allowed to
work on your kart on the track, this also includes putting the chain
back on.
• If you leave the track
during the race and enter the pits, you are not allowed to re-enter
the track.
• You must Scale each time
you run a heat race, if not you will start at the rear of the Feature.
If you don’t weigh after the Feature, you receive no points and
payout.
• Line up is based upon
the number drawn for the Driver at the time of registration. Any entry
not on the grid when the previous race has ended will start at the end
of the field. It is the Driver’s responsibility to know their starting
position and be on the grid and ready to go before the previous race
has ended. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• The Flagman will control
the start of the race at the Start/Finish line. Once the green flag is
displayed the race has officially started.
• The start of the race
will consist of 2 attempts at a double file start. If unsuccessful we
will start single file.
• Restarts will be single
file. The lead kart will have the option of restarting the race
between the entrance of turn 3 to the exit of turn 4.
• If a kart starts passing
before the green flag is displayed or is charged with jumping the
start, that kart will be move back 2 spots. If that kart restarted in
the last position he or she will be docked 2 positions at the end of
the race.
• If you bring out a
caution or are part of the caution on the start of the race, (lap 1)
you will line up at the rear of the field.
• In the event of a
caution, we go back to the last completed lap. The lap is considered
complete when all karts crossed the start finish line. The karts
involved in the caution go to the rear.
• With our Electronic
timing and scoring system, it will record your position every time you
cross the start finish line. If you are involved in a caution, you
will go to the rear of the field in the order you were running before
the caution flag came out. EXAMPLE: If there are 8 karts in the race,
and the karts running 6th, 7th and 8th are involved in the caution,
they will restart at the rear of the field in the position they were
running before the caution came out.
• If a caution flag is
displayed and you are deemed to be part of the caution, or you came to
a complete stop on the track you will restart the race at the rear of
the field.
• In the case of a caution
where a Racer stalls, he or she will be permitted in a timely manner
to restart and rejoin the field. After the field is reformed, any kart
not ready to race will be given 2 laps to rejoin the field. If you are
not able to continue move to a safe location in the infield or exit
the track so the race can resume. You will be scored appropriately
based on the number of karts remaining in the race.
• If you spin out and are
still under power and are capable of continuing, the caution flag will
not be thrown. Single kart spins where the kart is ruled not to be in
a dangerous position will not cause a caution to be thrown. Any Driver
charged with (3) cautions in any race will be black flagged and
required to exit the track.
• If you intentionally
bring out a caution, you will be Black Flagged for that race and
required to exit the track.
• If the Flagman observes
rough driving, you maybe warned, put to the rear of the field, or
Black flagged for that event.
• If you spin the leader,
you will go to the rear of the field, and the leader will get the lead
spot back.
• If you intentionally
turn into another kart, you will either be Black flagged or sent to
the rear of the field.
• If you deliberately hit
another kart, you will be Black flagged for the remainder of the race.
Flag Descriptions and
Procedures:
• Green Flag: The
green flag is used to start or restart the race. When it has been
determined that all Karts are lined up in the proper position and the
track is clear, the flagman will waive the green flag when the Karts
pass by the start finish line. On caution lap restarts, the race will
resume immediately when the leader starts the race between turns 3 and
4.
• Yellow Flag:
Indicates Caution on the track. This means slow down and hold your
position. The Yellow flag is also known as the Caution Flag. The
Caution Flag will not be thrown unless there is a dangerous situation
on the track. This is usually the result of a disabled Kart or a
multi-Kart collision. If you’re involved in the caution and keep going
you can rejoin the field in the position you were running. However, if
you’re stopped on the race track you will go to the rear of the field.
You must have continuous movement, no stop and go.
• Red Flag:
Signifies automatic halting of the racing. Karts must come to a
complete stop in a safe and orderly manner. The race is scored
according to the last lap completed lap under green minus the Karts
involved in the red flag condition.
• White Flag:
Signifies 1 lap remaining in the race. If the white flag is waved and
then the Caution comes out the race will end with the Checkered and
Caution flags being waved.
• Checkered Flag:
Signifies the end of the race.
• Black Flag: If
the flagman waves the black flag and points to you while you are
racing, you must slow down using caution as not to interfere with the
other racers and exit the track in a safe manner. The reasons to be
black flagged could be: an unsafe situation has developed with your
kart, your speed is off the pace to the point where it is a danger to
other drivers, reckless driving or unsafe or unsportsman-like conduct.
• Blue Flag:
Signifies competitor is about to be lapped. When you are going to be
lapped hold your line until the leaders go by.
Conduct:
The following will be
reason for immediate ejection from the Speedway:
• Abusive language,
fighting, arguing with Track officials and unsportsman like conduct.
This includes Driver’s, Pit Crews and Spectators.
• Possession or
consumption of an alcoholic beverage by anyone in the pit area during
an event.
• Any person on the
premises who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or any other
controlled substance.
• Anyone approaching the
Flagman or the Scorer during a race will be automatically
disqualified. This includes drivers, family member’s and spectators.
• If you get out of your
kart on the racetrack because you are upset, you will be Black flagged
immediately.
• Anyone entering the pits
without a pit pass will be ejected from the property for two race
events. If they are part of a pit crew, or family members of a driver,
the driver will forfeit all points and be ejected from the property.
• Posting any videos on
any Social Media platform with abusive language will not be tolerated.
Decisions:
• All decisions concerning
scorekeeping, suspension, disqualification, and interpretation of
rules by Speedway or Track Officials are final. Questions regarding
race procedures or other decisions will not be discussed until after
the race event has ended. Anyone not adhering to this rule will be
penalized at the Speedways discretion which may include but not
limited to ejection, suspension, or forfeit of points.
